We are a large chemical/fertiliser and power utility in KOTA (INDIA) and have a Teleperm-ME DCS System installed in our Power Plant. We have gone through your information about OPC Server and find it interesting. We have some specific queries and would like to have your comments on the same:

1) In case we decide to go for an OPC Server based interface with teleperm System would it be possible to download setpoints/commands from the OPC server based Application software into the CS-275 bus ( EAS interface ) of the teleperm directly .

2) Is is possible to have a standard SCADA package like INTELLUTION/WONDERWARE etc as an MMI for the system for Monitoring and control applications.

I am happy that we are not the only ones that are considering putting OPC on top of Teleperm. It is very difficult to do at this moment (WinCC/TM is the only real alternative). Maybe we should talk. My e-mail is [email protected]
