I am looking for a tutorial on OPC server programming with Visual C++ 6.0.

Does anybody know a link or a good book ?

Hi,

there are a number of tools in the market.

At least our toolkit contains a tutorial how to write opc server (and clients).

You can find also a number of additional information on opc on this site. Yes, there are also books on opc.
One is only available in german and gives a short overview on opc from the viewpoint of vendors.
You will not find much about coding there.
Then there is a japanese one, that describes how to program opc apps with VB.
I have not seen this.
Then there is the book from softing on OPC, available in German and English. It is sold out. A second edition will be there in June.

Most example listed for OPC server programming require us to buy their dll, libraries etc. - but it help us to quickly develope the application.
The only free example I've come across is by Lab43

Still you need to go to the developer section in
