We have orifice plates designed at Flow Range 4400 NM3/Hr at 300 mmWC at Air Blower suction line. Now working range is 3200 nm3/hr. Now we want to increase air flow to 4200 nm3/hr. Will it be possible to use the same orifice plates? What will be the good operating range of orifice plates?

 

I don't understand the question. 4,200 is still less than design 4.400, of course you will get a higher DP (closer to 300 mm).

 

Yes, It is less than 4400 but it is around 95% of full range. Will accuracy of flow calculation effect? What is the best operating range of DP in terms of Flow in orifice? Is there rangeability coming?
