We are interested to buy Ovation control system for a gas compression project. But in our country we don't have experience with this type of control system.

Please tell me your opinion, preferably with some experiences about this control system.

Dear Azin,

I am working in the power plant, using Ovation System 3.0.2 based on Windows OS.

My personal is:
- Software: so easy to use
- Hardware: I know that assembly in Thailan, Hardware is not so good. Often occur failure with I/O mudule.
For example, there are 16 channel in the DI, if you fail one channel in I/O module, you must replace new I/O mudule.

Emerson normally do in project has EPC contractor from China.

EPC Contractors from China, i have experience with Chinese EPC Contractor, are not good.
