Has anyone used a current serial printer with the A-B Panelview 1400e? A-B's manual lists only two printers that will work, but both are obsolete (must be Epson FX-80 or FX-800 compatible). Their knowledge base lists some "possible" printers, but with the disclaimer they haven't been tested, so there are no guarantees they will work. Has anyone used a printer currently available that is known to work with the 1400e?

Most of the Okidata impact printers will emulate Epson FX or would the last time I played with impact printers. Since these were the original PC printers many still emulate them.

My clients have done well using Panasonic printers with their PanelViews.

For those on the list that remember my own posting on this subject a few months ago, the Panasonic laser printer suggested by Curt and others worked well.
