Paperless Chart Recorders

Hi,

I am looking for a chart recorder that can record 10 channels, will allow viewing from a networked computer location and allow on screen notations about the process. I am looking for a unit that will take 0-5VDC and 4-20mA inputs. If you've been using a unit that is user friendly and haven't had any problems with it, let me know

Thanks, John

I've had great success with the Yokogawa paperless recorder. I don't remember the model number off hand, but it has thirty universal inputs and comes standard with Ethernet communications.

John,
There are a number of different companies out there that can do what you want -- Eurotherm Chessell, Yokogawa, Honeywell, etc. We have a guy at our company who worked for 30 years with Chessell and is an expert on paperless recorders and networking them via whatever communications you might desire to your computer or software management program. You might want to give him a call and pick his brain -- his name is Peter Jackson, and his number is 215-968-7577.
