My boss wants me to investigate and implement an update our power distribution screens to replace existing power distribution screens on the DCS. Our existing screens have real-time single line display with breaker and switch control display with event logs etc... We have a marking scheme topologic where the different colour schemes identify breaks and isolations. What my boss wants is a more passive and transparent display for example if a break does occur on one of the supply lines we want all connection on that feeding line to fade away indicating to us clearly what supply lines are offline during that break. I was trying to find examples on the internet which has that similar type of implementation but could not find anything. I was hoping if you guys had ideas or examples I can look at??? So I can implement the same kind of strategy to our existing DCS screens.
