I wont to design high speed redundant network for 400 PROFIBUS SLAVE including SIEMENS VFD & SIMOCODE PRO(motor protection) to CCU then to the existing DCS.
Please advice me which one of the following systems will serve my purposes ?
1-Field network : Y-LINK (redundant
profibus to single
converter) per 100 SLAVE
CCU :Automation system S7-400
with redundant Profibus
to Y-LINKS .
DCS :DCS to S7-400 Redundant
Industrial Ethernet .

2-Field network :IE/PB (Profibus to Prfinet)
and SCALANCE X200 switches per
100 Slave Ring structure
between SCALANCE X200 SWITCHES
managed by ring redundancy
Manager SCALANCE Ethernet
switches.
CCU : Automation System S7-400 with
redundant industrial Ethernet
to Ring Redundancy manager
SCALANCE Ethernet switches .
DCS : DCS to Ring Redundancy
manager SCALANCE Ethernet
switches .
