Anybody know some case or apliccation of control for Pelco CCTV system through computer with wonderware supervisory? How do it?
Thanks.

If you can send ASCII commands to a com port then you should have no problem with this. You do need to know what Pelco equipment you will be using as each of there switch products use slightly different codes. If you want the cut and dry easy way of doing this you can use a pe;co swith that has dry contact alarm inputs and just trigger those to get what you need.

Have you contacted Pelco?
If you download the manuals from the internet of the PZT equipment, there are command string samples that you can review.
I worked on creating a system that uses an alarm card to move cameras to a preset postion. It was done using an output with Wonderware that intiated the alarm. I do not know how much control you want but the Pelco systems themselves have some pretty slick features that would be hard to duplicate.

You can use the R-VIP-T from Hirshcmann in order to conect any camera to a Windows based SCADA.
