Dear Control-folk,

I am looking for any pointers to autotune PID code for microcontrollers like Basic Stamp or Tiger or Handyboard. There has to be something in the public domain!
My application is quite simple - heating a small hotplate to below-boiling temps within 0.1 deg.
Omega autotune controller does it beautifully, but I want to save space (and $$$).

Any thoughts?

In you case, you may want to take a look at
http://bestune.50megs.com/piddesign.htm. You can save $$$ and more importantly you can make your PID loop work beautifully.
