Does anybody know where I can find some technical documentation (electronical format) regarding the PID controllers (autotuning) - something like adjusting PID controllers according to Chien, Hrones and Reswick (CHR)?

There is one software I know that was developed by Rockwell Automation called the RSTune version 9.0. What it does is collect 32 points and data analyze and set an automatic Proportional Integral and Derivative settings. look for Rockwell Automation Web site:
