What version of the PL7-07 software and what driver Unitelway should be used to communicate a PC with operating system Windows XP with a PLC TSX Nano?

PL7-07 is not certified to work with Windows XP. Since it's a DOS application, I doubt it will work under XP. I have had v4.0 with Unitelway WDM 1.4 working under Windows 2000. But have never tried (and Modicon said it won't work) using it with Windows XP. Sounds like time to upgrade the PLC.

I would advise that you call the modicon/telemecanique tech support for this item. I believe the only pl707 software is dos based, and is not supported by windows XP. My suggestion would be to use a pc with windows 98 and run the software under the command prompt as this has worked for me in the past.

 

I know a software that can be for Neza C PLC and Twido PLC , The software can be used to work with Windows 9X or Windows2000. The software's name is PL7_LE (V1.0) . You may obtain it from the Schneider Electric.

They appear to sell an ActiveX control system to interface with the Modicon controllers, including the Nano series. I haven't tried it, however.
