Hi everybody,

I'm working on AB PLC Flex I/O which does not has any Hart protocol installed on the I/O modules.
First question:

The implementation of the DCS DeltaV and the AMS on the same field request to report all the diagnostics of the transmitters and the control valves connected to this AB PLC via hart network.
SO, is there any flex I/O that support the Hart protocol, if it exists how to connect that to AMS or to DCS Deltav network.

the second question is:
please tell me it exist the diagnostic bits for each channel on the flex analog I/O modules, I need these bits to configure them on the RS5000 logic to make out of service the failed transmitter.

You could put a model 775 WirelessHART adapter on the HART devices in question and wirelessly bring the data through a model 1420 WirelessHART gateway which connects to AMS Device Manager
