PLC Direct processors and communicating

Anybody have any experiences with the DL205-2xx processors and communicating via Ethernet from Linux? They've freely shared the necessary code and I haven't even bought hardware yet... Looks pretty straight forward, but I'm looking for any nay-sayers.
