# plc_pt_details() function in lib/gmm/gmm.h

J
Hello, in response to lib/TODO item 40, I've written a new function for the gmm that returns various sundry details about a point. As it says in the comment, it's not intended for general consumption but rather for those who for one reason or another need to know the guts of the gmm (bypass the abstraction'', to use the technical term). The function is called plc_pt_details() and currently lets you find out the validity of a point, its offset and bit address, length and r/w status. This may be expanded at need. Comments? Jiri -- Jiri Baum <[email protected]> Connect the power cable, interface cable and ground wire only in the methods indicated in the this manual. It may lead to fire. -- OKIPAGE 8z user's manual _______________________________________________ LinuxPLC mailing list [email protected] http://linuxplc.org/mailman/listinfo/linuxplc
