Can anyone recommend a good ActiveX control for serial communication to a PLC Direct DL405 PLC? Any experience with the vHMI driver?

I have been using the vHMMI driver for PLCDirect serial communications (for a DL205 application). I am a novice at PLCs, but a good hack at VB. Integration of it was easy, and email support with the author has been very helpful. His help has helped considerably. I am not done yet, but so far, the vHMMI driver looks like a very cost-effective and good choice.
