I'm looking for a freeware soft tool for simulate AC/DC thyristor converter (6 and 12 pulses) and whole HVDC (high voltage direct curent) system.
I have to simulate railway electrical system.
Is there anyone who know some soft tool or related
papers and articles.

I'd be glad to speak with you if you wish, since there aren't many people interested or knowledgeable on DC power systems, especially railway transit traction applications. Here in the states, they do NOT teach railway traction, or even train control, at the undergraduate universities.
