I have a 3 phase 480 4 wire system. We have a transformer off that system that is 240V 3phase for some machinery that won't run on 480V. My question is on 480V any power line to ground is 277V, what should it be on the 240V transformer?

In another building we have a 240V system that is 120V, 240V, 120V, but the transformed system is different.

I assume your system is 3 phase 240V, line-to-line, and star connected.

The phase voltage (line to star point) is the line-line voltage divided by the square root of 3. In this case, about 139V.
