I am looking to build a power monitoring demonstration system to view to clients. I will be using Schneider Electric PowerLogic Family for monitoring like the EGX400. I am trying to find a way of simulating say 15 meters that would normally be installed on a modbus network (Meters PM710) or similar.
I am proposing to use a Crestron Control Processor as a medium for the substitution of the meters as we can use either TCP/IP or serial ports, and we will be installing a touchscreen so we can change the readings in each virtual meter. Thus giving the client a really feel to a system.
Any advise i would appreciate on the best approach to build.
