Has anyone ever connected remotely to TSX Premium PLC using modem? All I want to do is extend the connection between PL7Pro and the PLC. Would there be much involved in setting up a GSM modem as opposed to a landline modem?

It is possible, please look at the ERCO&GENER web site (http://www.gener.fr). I'm afraid it is in french.
they have some documents about this kind of connection with their PSTN modem (GEN-INDUS).

they use either the TER plug or the SCP111 serial board with their modem both side or the TSXMDM10 modem board on the PLC's side. it is apparently common.
