We have installed a Rockwell turbo supervisory system for protection & monitoring of turbine for a 70 MW lignite power plant. What we have found that when the power fails/when the card is taken out for maintenence & is replaced, the Rockwell TSI card performs an auto test for all relays and during this phase the relays change over for auto-testing. This provides a tripping signal to the machine and the turbine trips... Can someone suggest how to resolve the problem so that online maintenance can be carried out for the cards?
