How can i estabilish a communication between an ELAU PLC and a MicroInnovation Toutch Screen with the Profibus DP Protocol.

I assume that the Master is on the PLC side and the Touch screen is the slave.

1st, you need a description file for the Profibus slave (the touch screen).

2nd, you need to configure the Profibus DP Master of the ELAU PLC, for this task there should be a software available from the PLC Manufacturer. The description of the slave must be imported from the description file into the software, the slave parameters (Adresses, Number of Bytes or similar) be set and the configuration downloaded
to the Master.
