It is our first step in Profibus networking. We use CPU315-2DP and our own IN/OUT board based on LSPM-2 Siemens (8-channel temperature to digital converter and 8-channel current to digital converter). We have connected diagnostic port to V+ and have no any OB for fault diagnose and fixing. We need it to debug Profibus network communications faults. We will be gratefully for examples or comment on usage of diagnostic port E.
