Programmable Logic Control in the Physical Phenomena Transmission and Receiving control system

The PLC network as a logic control has a sufficient design concept to replace the manual logic control design known as mechanical sequence control, the PLC network design concept is: 1. Relay replacement, 2. Sequence operation and relay implementation, 3. Involves on and off operations , 4. reduce the space relay a lot , 5. easy to install and repair and maintenance . A programmable logic controller (PLC) or programmable controller is an industrial computer that has been ruggedized and adapted for the control of manufacturing processes, such as assembly lines, machines, robotic devices, or any activity that requires high reliability, ease of programming, and process fault diagnosis. A PLC is an industrial microprocessor-based controller with programmable memory used to store program instructions and various functions. It consists of:

1. a processor unit (CPU) which interprets inputs, executes the control program stored in memory and sends output signals,

2. a power supply unit which converts AC voltage to DC,

3. a memory unit stores data from inputs and programs to be executed by the processor,

4. an input and output interface, where the controller receives and sends data from/to external devices,

5. a communications interface to receive and transmit data on communication networks from/to remote PLCs. 6. Timer and Counter up and down .

PLCs require programming device which is used to develop and later download the created program into the memory of the controller.
Modern PLCs generally contain a real-time operating system, such as OS-9 or VxWorks . PLC is widely used in industrial areas: 1. Chemical and petrochemical, 2. manufacturing / machine geochemical, 3. Glass / Film, 4. Food / beverage, 5. Metals, 6. Mining, 7. Power, 8. Plumber / Pulp and paper
