What will be the risks and impacts of running a DLN frame 6 GE gas turbine on FSNL for a prolonged period?

Please assess the impact in terms of following,

1. Hot gas path
2. Service factor
3. Auxiliaries
4. Any examples of such operation world wide
5. Maintenance Intervals
6. Any other risks

Obtain a copy of GER-3620. (No; I can't send anyone a copy.)

It doesn't make very good economic sense to burn all that fuel at FSNL, or even 2-5 MW for long periods of time. It takes a good deal of energy to keep a gas turbine spinning at rated speed (primarily to drive the axial compressor), not to mention the auxiliaries (cooling water system; compartment ventilation fans; exhaust frame blowers; excitation; etc.). The heat rate is essentially infinity, which is about as bad as it gets.
