Protecting Analog Input channels

I would like to know the ways of protecting a Non-Isolated Analog Input channel.

you can protect your analog input channels by puting inverter diode so if there is any problem in the loop the diode will take care of it.

moin all,

years ago I put an operational amplifier with a gain of 1 in front of the ADC. It's not an isolation but it helps.
