Need solution to convert properatory protocol to Modbus Master RTU, but can't make new device for that certification will take time.

Can any one help, as the master device is PLC and slaves are temperature sensors?

You can take I/O modules with Temp Input
RTD/TC ----> with Modbus RTU protocol ,
Moore Industries have such type of modules,
unless you have some special measurment devices

I have done numerous Modbus RTU implementations on microprocessors. I am a software engineer.

What is your time frame?

Hello.
IntelliCom provides 2 options for exactly this kind of solutions. First of all the NetBiter Modbus RTU/TCP platform (supports Modbus over RS232, RS485 and Ethernet) With this product you can do programming in LINUX environment to implement the proprietary protocol.

The Linux development kit is a cost-effective way to get started and you get both hardware, software, compilers etc

You can also use our Modbus development platform (only serial Modbus): http://www.intellicom.se/gw_modbus_lite.shtml?8

Any of these products would help you out.

I am about to develop a modbus rtu format protocol. Earlier i have had no exposure to practical application. I have read the protocol and want to start applying it.

Please guide me. I am a final year b.e electronics student.
