Anyone knows curent status of technology to measure pulverized coal flow? I concern about sensor's accuraccy and cost in particular.

Hi!
I think the best way is to use a massflowmeter, actually a kind of weightscale.
They are not cheap or simple but it's a very good way to meassure the massflow.

Check http://www.ktron.com to see moore.

Good Luck!

Checkout PFISTER GmbH pulverized coal weighing scales and industrial solutions, they might have something on hoe to measure that kind of flow.

I would suggest caudalimeters.

GTS/SWR Engineering has a mass flowmeter to measure dilute or dense phase solids flow. The company was started based on measuring pulverized coal flow going into the burners at power plants.

Please email me directly and I'll reply with the literature in pdf format.

I am looking for latest inforamation on Pf Coal Flow Measurement Technologies, specifically those based on Microwave technology. I can only find information through the DTI - UK reports which were published way back in 2001. If information is available, please send.
