Apparently Novatech LLC (URL on "http://www.novatech-LLC.com":http://www.novatech-LLC.com ) used to make a HART module for Quantum - according to Schneider Technical Support (via e-mail on 2002-10-30) they stopped making it. No on else appears to make one. Perhaps someone has some old stock? Perhaps another manufacturer is about to enter the market place with a card?

An alternative would be Foundation Fieldbus, does anyone out there know of a Quantum PLC I/O communications module available for Foundation
Fieldbus?

NovaTech informed me that they did indeed used to make the module. Some sort of political thing between them and Schneider. NovaTech will make you 25 of them at US$1500 each. I don't have 25 friends who need HART cards.

Any ideas?

Check with ProLinx Communications Gateways, "www.prolinxgateways.com":http://www.prolinxgateways.com . Their brochure shows 4 and 8 channel gateways from HART to Modbus, Modbus Plus, and Modbus TCP.
