Remote IO having 3 racks and RG6 co-axial cable used for communication purpose for Wartsila diesel Engine power plant of total 7 units individual CPU control and common control PLC unit connected with operator interface system.

What software? Proworx, Concept or Unity?

RIO is proven and robust system. Most errors are the result of using wrong cables (very common), wrong components (not using splitters etc), no terminations and poor wiring. It is common for wires to "touch" when stripping and fitting connectors to coax.

Also, you can configure and physically set drops with "gaps" such as 2, 3, 6, 8, 10. But if you then try to address drop 4, you will have major issues. Ensure mapping matches reality.
