Query a Mettler T50 Titrator

We would like to obtain test results from a Mettler T50 titrator to write to a SQL database. I would like to send a query command to the device and then capture the return string, rather than eavesdrop for data sent to the printer. Any help with the communication protocol would be appreciated.
