Hi I have been requested to modify an offline system so it can be used in the training of operators. Currently the system models plant through PICs. (Simulating the movement of a mobile crane around plant). I've been asked to drive the crane Via joysticks wired into the PLC rather than the PICs pro interface on the PC. To do this I've added an extra input card and wired in the joysticks but because the PICs loadable RA1X overwrites the input area of the PLC any inputs are overwritten. Is there any way I can modify the RA1X so that some inputs can still be read by the PLC processor? Thanks in advance.
