Radio Comm using Unitelway Protocol European location

Has anybody reliably used a particular radio with the above protocol (from Schneider Electric Premium PLCs) over a 20 kM distance? Line of sight is present.

Have you looked at Motorola and MDS radios? These are solid products, VHF through spread spectrum, 1W up to 25 watts, does not matter the protocol, great products and very rugged.
