I want to use CPU 315-2 DP as master and 215-2DP as slave (SIEMENS), the interface is profibus, my inquiry is : is it possible to use radio link between the master and slave using Induline modems, if yes, is there should be software for both the master and the slave in order to establish radio communication or no need. ?? Kindly, I want recommendation regarding this case.

 

I do not know Induline modems, but if they are "transparent" to the protocol, there should be no problem. However, you should limit the baud rate as you know. I think you should contact the vendor of these modems if they are transparent or not. Best regards, Hakan Ozevin
