Re: Is 200 mA leak current to ground harmful for human and machine safety?

Depends on your application. In most industrial apps
this would be probably ok. In most applications which
involve low impedance connections to humans (most
biomedical applications, in other words) this would
not be acceptable. 10 mA through the heart can cause
a fatal MI. So a good connection at your machine on
the right arm, and a good ground on the left arm, with
no connections anywhere else on the body COULD cause
an MI with 200 mA.
