Has anyone ran into problems with RSView talking to SLC501 or SLC502?
I recently upgraded an existing Controlview to RSView. The person who originally set up the Controlview referenced most of tags to the Input and Output data files directly. No problem with the two SLC503's on the network but the six SLC502's had to be readdressed by position in the rack - i.e. the first input card (regardless of where it is physically in the rack) is slot 0, the second is slot 1, and so on. It is the same for the outputs. I was unable to shut down the processors to map the I/O. I ended up having
to readdress the RSView.
Just thought I would pass this on so others may avoid this problem.
