Can anybody Help me to read the s5 dos based software with s5 window based software? Is there any conversion software available? Dos based software is with s5d extension while windows based software opens the file with s5w extension. Is anywhere free download of s5 Dos based operating system available?

download the Ste5/Step7 demo program. It reads and converts old S5 programs. Only issue is you can only view 3 or 4 segments. I always programmed in STL, so the number of segments was never an issue.

You have to use the function import in file menu, then choose the s5d file and open it.
