Reading/Writing Modbus registers

I have established connection to remote PC (slave) but cannot read/write the registers. Registers are labeled HRxxxx (Ex. HR0105)and are floating. I can poke points using WW Client with an address 40105 F (ex.) If I try this same address through Intouch tagname it will not write data to registers. My logger indicates "exception 2 Illegal data range"

Any ideas
