Hi all,

If suppose, 1, 3, 5 are the input connections of circuit breaker and 2, 4, 6 are the output connections of it. i found in some cases, they have looped 2 and 3 to make it two poles at output end. whats the need for this looping and how it will be useful...???

Often poles in series is done with a DC load, because it's harder to break (no zero crossing), and with two poles you get a wider, faster effective gap opening for arc quenching.
