I am connecting Quantum Hotstandby PLC to a redundant Factory Link servers via Modbus Plus Protocol, can any of you help me, how to establish redundancy in Factory Link server using VRN value added product or any other method of connecting redundant server to four monitor pro clients. THANKS

 

If you need help and have budget to buy product, talk to PDS Ltd www.pdslimited.co.uk they have a product called a PAU (Processor Arbitration Unit) which monitors watchdog cards in PCs and deems one as master. For less money, you can always do it by OPC servers and a redundancy broker - look at the Kepware, SoftwareToolbox and Matrokin sites, or www.opcfoundation.org and this should help.
