I need to link different data collectors to a central station. My link must be redundant (In case of fiber cut) Is there a way to do that with Rockwell equipment or GE?

 

If you provide a little more information about your application, you may get more detailed and useful responses. Information such as the types of media, what communication protocals you are thinking of using, etc.

 

Take a look at weed instruments eotec 2000 or 6000 series fiber optic modems. They support AB, GE, Modicon and other industrial protocols. A typical redundant network implemented would actually be a ring configuration so that any one cable break would not result in a loss of communication.
