I had posted a message where I was told I could connect using RAS. I tried this but I think I cannot use RAS unless the system is running Windows Server software. Is this correct? I cannot find any documentation on installing RAS on a Windows 2000 Pro system.

You might try the free realvnc (http://www.realvnc.com). I use this often to remote control computers within our network. But realvnc doesn't work well through firewalls; if you have to remote control the PC from outside the firewall look at http://www.gotomypc.com. It is about $15/month, but it works great through firewalls.

Also research route1.com... allows for a very cool secure way to use a USB thin client on any internet connected computer... using it for 6 months plus... fast and very functional.

Monthly fee of 20 bucks or so...
