dear sir,

we are working on AC servo motor manufactured by AMT germany. we had rewound the stator and now we have stuck up after assembly of the motor for alignment of the resolver, it is TAMA GAWA (smart sine) make japnese resolver with six lead wires one pair having resistance of 37 ohms (white yellow - white red), and other pair (blue -yellow) 62 ohms (red -black) 62 ohms. we request you if you can please inform us how to align the resolver and give us a standard pattern to align the resolver.

thanking you,

Without details, there is no general way to do this. Each manufacturer does it differently. The basis proceedure is to lock the motor electrically by driving DC current through the motor and turning the resolver until it has a specified output.

Many servo amplifiers have a mode to do this. If so, it would be in the servo amplifier manual.

As with the previous reply, you want the resolver aligned appropriately for the actual drive being used. i.e. "correct" is drive specific.
