Reverse current on diesel gen-set

I have 2 generators down due to revers current (down to earth).
Its 3 x free standing CAT 500kVA gen-sets feeding 2 camps. At first we thought its the inverter AC units causing the reverse current, so we changed some of them. But the problem is still there.
I don't know what ells to do

How old is the installation gensets +camp (load consumers)

What about load nature type? capacitive inductive ...

When the problem appeared /started ?

Any alarms trips from protection module ? or Governor itself?

Cross-current compensation or reactive differential is a method that allows two or more paralleled generators to share equally a reactive load, given that the following assumptions are satisfied: There is no grid connection, i.e. the generators operate in island mode. The generators are of equal size.

Wel;come to Control.com!
Q1) What are Gen'r parameters such such as kW kVA, V, A, Pf, Hz, Rpm?
Q2) Eng'n parameters such Diesel or Gasolene?
Q3) Also, are they same Mfg, and age?
Q4, Are problem(s) related to a single Genset, or two or all three?

Hi there,

Camp is about 7 years old.
Load is balanced - 380A in total.
This problem started about 1 mouth after start up.
This is a singe generator running on its own - other gen-sets are for standby.
No alarm - just shutting down.

Q1 - 500kVA, 400V, 630A, 0.9, 50Hz, 1500rpm
Q2 - diesel.
Q3 - 7 years old.
Q4 - all three of them are acting the same.

Load sharing (Reactive) scheme need to be reviewed...

You've had the problem some 7 years since installation, even for single-genset operation!
As the first-step toward solution I suggest you monitor kW, Voltage, Amperes, and PF for all 3-phases of each genset and load. One (or more) of the Voltage and Current Instrument Transformers may have been incorrectly sized, incorrectly installed or improperly ratio-ed!
