Ripple control over 230 VAC net

Hello everybody.

I have a following problem. I need to transfer a signal (in acoustical range about 300Hz) by using standard 230 VAC net. The signal should be detectable in a small range of about 50m. I know how to realize it principally (I need signal source/CD player?/coupling capacitor and transformator/loose coupling/some amplifier probably) but the real is just something different. All hints are appreciated.
