Dear Sirs,

We are operating Siemens V94.2 on natural gas. now we have started firing RLNG gas in gas turbine. we observed brownish color liquid coming in RLNG gas which we are draining frequently.

does this liquid cause any problem with gas turbine Hot gas path components?

we have communicate to Siemens also.

any opinion from gas turbine experts is highly appreciated,

Do you know what the brownish color liquid is?

Could it be rusty water?

You need to have the liquid tested to know what is in it, and then ask this question of Siemens after the constituents are known.

 

These are liquid hydrocarbon of higher C composition.
one need to install Knock Out Drum to remove these liquid as these can create problem to Gt and the Pressure regulating valve also
