I am looking for some control systems to retrofit an industrial robot for an operation to clean parts with water under high pressure 10,000 PSI, the operation and environment is too dirty and there are a lot of moist and humidity to use an standar robot from ABB or another one, the actual mechanical system with five axis is working OK and it stills the same, but the control equipment has a lot of problems to get the system working.

Is there any PC based control to get under control five servomotors, with a teach pendant to program like a robot the different positions, and then run the program or save it to the hard disk, additionally We need to control the high pressure pump and safety I/O on the system.

Pavel Andris ([email protected]) from the Slovak Academy of Science has developed a nice puma robot driver and software which runs in rtlinux (http://www.rtlinux.org). This might be what you are looking for.
