RS232 DATA DUMP PROTOCOL DETAIL NEEDED

Dear Sir/Madam,
In one of project, we need to develop device driver for RS232 based "DATA DUMP" protocol. But we could not locate Protocol Specification for the same.

Please suggest us where can we obtain the the above detail?

I think you are referring to DATADUMP used in gas turbine systems. Large number of GE Speedtronic Mark-IV systems come up with DATADUMP feature. The DCS connected to this system reads data through serial port (RS232) periodically (one way communication). For detailed specification, you can refer to any MARK-IV elementary drawing (ladder logic) for any specific project (gas turbines). The specification generally is in a page after alarms listing (either number 18 or 19).
