I'm trying to integrate a Propen marking machine into a test rig. Since the RS232 communiction with it is unknow, I was thinking of using the RS232 or digital I/O on the PLC to mimic a keyboard to the marker. This since it will be a known order the "buttons" need to be pressed (mimiced. Those anyone know how to mimic a keybord from RS232 or from digital I/O and how the pin connections has to be?
