Our field device have RS485 2wire and 4 wire port but the its Propritery Software is working only on Full duplex mode. By mistake we have purchased Rs485 (half duplex) to RS232 converter to connect the device with PC. We tried to establish communication between PC and device but we could not.
We have purchased this converter in lot which will be useless now. Is there any way to establish communication between PC and field device with same RS232 to RS 485 (two wire) converter.
Please suggest if any.
